We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual to join us as a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor at our Beaver Dam facility.
Responsibilities:
Supervise Shift Operations:
Oversee day-to-day operations during the 2nd shift, managing a team of 6 to 10 employees.
Lead and motivate the team to achieve production goals.
Quality Control:
Monitor and enforce quality control measures to uphold product standards.
Implement corrective actions as necessary to maintain quality.
Team Leadership:
Provide guidance, training, and support to team members.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Production Planning:
Collaborate with the planning team to ensure production schedules are met.
Adjust priorities based on changing demands and deadlines.
Safety Compliance:
Enforce safety protocols and procedures to create a secure work environment.
Conduct regular safety meetings and trainings for the production team.
Project Management:
Undertake projects during 2nd shift, such as 5S initiatives or basic engineering tech work.
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts to enhance efficiency and quality.
Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
Experience:
Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Familiarity with production processes and machinery.
Leadership Skills:
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
Project Management Skills:
Experience in managing projects, particularly in areas like 5S or basic engineering tech work.
Problem Solving:
Analytical and problem-solving abilities to address production challenges.
Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
